Saving the Planet One Awkward Compost Bin at a Time.

Going green is all the rage, and businesses are jumping on board faster than a squirrel on an unguarded picnic table. But let’s be honest—sometimes being eco-friendly feels like trying to fold a fitted sheet: confusing, frustrating, and occasionally ending in tears.

Still, the planet is kind of important (unless you’ve got a backup Earth somewhere?), so here are some eco-friendly practices that won’t make you go broke—or lose your mind.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
 and Repeat
Until You Get It Right
We all say we recycle, but let’s admit it—sometimes we’re just guessing. (Is this plastic? Cardboard? A futuristic material sent to confuse us?) Businesses can lead the charge by using recycled materials and setting up actual recycling stations—bonus points if they don’t become mystery trash piles.

Cut Down on Paper:
(Says the Printer Peeps? Yep!)
Printing responsibly means using recycled paper, of which ACP does,  soy-based inks, that’s a YES,  and reminding customers that double-sided printing is a thing.  (Seriously, why are we still printing single-sided like it’s 1995?) We help our customers select the best option for their projects.

Energy Efficiency:
Save Money, Look Smarter
Switch to LED lights, unplug things that aren’t in use, and for the love of sustainability, stop setting the office thermostat to “Arctic Tundra.” If your employees are bringing blankets to work, you’ve gone too far.

Sustainable Packaging:
Because Mother Nature is Not a Fan of Bubble Wrap
Ever order a tiny item and receive it in a box big enough to fit a refrigerator? Let’s cool it with the excessive packaging. Use recyclable, ACP does, biodegradable, oh YES, at least less ridiculous packaging solutions. Customization is the word of the day. Did I tell you ACP produces sustainable packaging?

Support Green Suppliers:
(AKA Find Business Buddies Who Care)
If your suppliers are still shipping products wrapped in enough plastic to mummify a small city, it’s time to have a chat. Look for business partners who prioritize sustainability—it’s good for business and great for the planet.

Make It Fun:
(Because Guilt-Tripping Isn’t a Marketing Strategy)
Want customers to participate? Give them incentives! B2C can give discounts for bringing reusable bags, or loyalty points for sustainable choices, or an “I Helped Save the Planet” sticker. People love stickers.

Saving the Earth:
One Laugh at a Time
Let’s face it—being eco-friendly isn’t always easy, but doing something is better than doing nothing. If every business makes small changes, the impact adds up. So, let’s go green
but can we stop using paper straws that disintegrate before you finish your drink. 😆

Don’t forget, when choosing between printed forms and flyers vs the use of digital only; paper is recyclable up to 7 times, and is biodegradable. Batteries, and electronics will be around beyond the end of time.
